As part of the Global Champions Tour, which includes ten qualifying events, the Estoril International Show Jumping Competition is rated CSI / Five-Star, the highest ranking in this discipline.
This high competition event was held once again at the Manuel Possolo racecourse in Cascais. Created almost 70 years ago and recently renovated, this equipment, with excellent technical conditions, testifies to the long horse tradition of the cosmopolitan city of Cascais.
The beautiful coastal city of Cascais, near Estoril, Portugal, has been part of the LGCT circuit (Longines Global Champions Tour) since it was founded in 2006, and once again hosted the championship race on June 20, 21 and 22, 2019.

Cascais became the summer destination of choice for the Portuguese nobility in the 1900s. It has since become a lively and international seaside resort. The Grand Prix LGCT in Cascais was an exciting event, as the riders competed for the podium in the overall standings of the 2019 Championship.
