In 2018, World Travel Awards ™ Grand Tour offers regional gala ceremonies in the Middle East (Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates), Europe (Athens, Greece), Asia and Australasia (Hong Kong), Latin America (Guayaquil, Ecuador ), Africa & Indian Ocean (Durban, South Africa) and North America and the Caribbean (Jamaica). The regional winners then compete for the nomination in the corresponding categories. The big winners were announced during the Grand Final on the evening of Saturday, December 1st in Lisbon, Portugal.
